Codex Desktop: CC-Switch Quick Configuration

Codex Desktop uses the same Codex Home configuration as Codex CLI. After enabling the HCAI Codex configuration in CC-Switch, reopen Codex Desktop and select a project folder.

Configuration Flow

1. Complete Codex CLI: CC-Switch Quick Configuration.
2. Confirm that the HCAI configuration is marked as active.
3. Close and reopen Codex Desktop.
4. Select a project folder in Codex Desktop and start using it.

Tip

If Codex Desktop for Windows runs the agent in WSL2, make sure CC-Switch writes the Codex configuration inside the WSL environment. Otherwise, use Codex Desktop: Manual Configuration.
